Derek Hanson
Derek Hanson is digital marketing strategist living in the Portland metro area. He loves a cup of bold coffee which pairs well with his passion for search engine marketing, social media, and web design.
Derek ‘s experience in marketing started at Portland State University. He gained a B.S. in marketing and a certificate in digital marketing strategies. While in college he worked at a startup eCommerce jewelry company where he helped in the design and implementation of both the website and marketing programs. Currently Derek is testing out his hand in entrepreneurship with Emprise Media, a marketing firm for small business.
Derek also can be found participating in the local marketing community. He has attended and participated in groups such as the Social Media Club of Portland, Search Engine Marketers of Portland, WordCamp, CodeCamp, and the Internet Strategy Forum.
